Description
The R220 Genuine Leroy Somer AVR for the Leroy-Somer LSA series of industrial alternators provides excitation current up to 3.2 A with excellent reliability for SHUNT excitation types.
The R220 Genuine Leroy Somer AVR cannot be used in dedicated single-phase 60 Hz. Please use dedicated R221. The R220 is an analogue AVR with transistor-controlled power. It is intended for use with small alternators that use a SHUNT excitation. It delivers excitation current up to 3.2A with high reliability for SHUNT excitation types.
R220 regulates the excitation current in order to keep the alternator’s output voltage stable. R220 is a high-performance voltage regulator that is easy to set up and operate. It complies with the IEC 60034-1 standard and is UL 508 / CSA certified.
